Common questions
Jobeu is a paid portal. Here are answers to the most common questions before buying a membership.
How do I tell a legitimate employer?
A legitimate employer has (1) a real corporate website, (2) a registered company ID in the destination country, (3) does not ask for any upfront fee or deposit, (4) does not ask for a passport photo before the contract is signed, (5) has a fixed business address and phone, (6) gives you time to decide.
How does Jobeu verify offers?
We manually verify every company before publishing: we check the company ID in the destination country registry (HRB in Germany, Firmenbuch in Austria), call HR or the managing director, and verify financial standing. We do not publish companies with active labor disputes or sanctions.
I have a deal, but after arrival the conditions are not honored. What now?
Do not hesitate. The Slovak consulate or embassy in the destination country can help. The Slovak National Labor Inspectorate (NIP) runs a hotline for cross-border disputes. Keep a copy of the contract and all email correspondence — they are critical evidence.
